Kirsten Ulve is a New York–based designer, art director, and illustrator whose work spans hospitality, public art, retail, publishing, and brand experiences. She creates concept-driven visual worlds that translate ideas into memorable environments, campaigns, products, and stories. Her work combines graphic clarity with narrative warmth, balancing wit, symbolism, and strong compositional structure across projects of every scale.
Kirsten's work has appeared in international advertising campaigns, magazine covers, Broadway marquees, animated shorts, television commercials, destination retail collections, and large-scale hospitality installations. Her practice combines illustration, graphic design, environmental graphics, branding, motion styling, and product development to create visual systems that live seamlessly across multiple formats.
Her clients include The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Vogue Japan, Harvard Business Review, Adobe, Target, Moderna, Live Nation, USPS, La Poste (France), Dufry World Duty Free, Meliá Hotels, and the Guggenheim Museum. Her work has been recognized by American Illustration, the 3x3 International Illustration Annual, and Taschen's 100 Illustrators.
Kirsten lives and works in Manhattan.
