Port of Dubuque
Port of Dubuque
A modern architectural portrait of Dubuque’s historic river harbor — where steamboats, bluffs, and industry shaped a Midwestern city.
‘Port of Dubuque’ is a layered, mid-century-inspired illustration of the Mississippi River waterfront in Dubuque, Iowa — a working river port that has been central to the city’s identity for generations. This graphic cityscape highlights steamboats, docks, river traffic, smokestacks, bridges, and shoreline structures arranged into a rhythmic, geometric composition that feels both nostalgic and contemporary.
Originally created as a large-scale one-of-a-kind piece for the Dubuque Museum of Art, the artwork has been reimagined here as a collectible fine art print.
Printed with vivid archival pigment inks on heavyweight Hahnemühle German Etching paper, each print is individually signed by the artist and produced to museum-quality standards.
